danny jefferies, D.M.D.
Danny Jefferies, DMD is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Danny finds that his time at NSU provided him with a widespread and varied field of experience and training and feels that the foundation of a good practice is trust and honesty. “Helping a patient learn and understand the importance of personal oral maintenance and hygiene (an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure)…and treating a patient is more than fixing a problem. People are individuals who have different opinions, wants, and needs. It is of utmost importance to aid my patients by removing them from pain and to treat their concerns – all the while ensuring treatment is done in an ethical and honest way.”
While Danny is originally from Draper, Utah, and has spent time in Malaysia and Singapore, he feels strongly that “home is where the heart is” and is looking forward to making Sandpoint his home. Outside of the clinic, Danny can be found chasing his Border Collie or two-year-old, as well as enjoying hiking and biking in the mountains, swimming and spending time with his wife.
Nick Miller, D.M.D.
Nick was born in Utah and is the youngest of 12 kids. He is still and will always be his mother’s baby boy. He is the only one in his family that currently lives in the state of Idaho but he has family spread throughout the United States. When he was young he decided that we was going to be in the medical field and as he got older he decided to be a dentist. In order to achieve that goal he went to undergrad at the University of Utah. While he was getting his bachelor degree he worked in construction doing framing and finish work to support himself and his family. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Biology. After that he went to the University of Las Vegas Nevada for dental school. He worked hard and after 4 long years he had graduated with a dental degree.
After school he decided that he was tired of the desert and the big city and so he started working as a dental associate in Great Falls, Montana. Great Falls was a great community and he loved his time that he spent there. After a while there was a job listed for a position in Sandpoint, Idaho with Kaniksu. He loved North Idaho and spent a lot of time there when he was younger with his family vacationing in CDA. He and his family could not pass on the opportunity to move and live in such a beautiful area. Now he has been working at Kaniksu for more than 4 years and is very happy in this beautiful community.
Nick has been married to his dream girl for 13 years. They have 4 children that are also wonderful. They range from ages 11 years to 6 months. He likes spending time with his family doing things outside like snow skiing, hiking, swimming and playing sports. His favorite thing to do is play basketball.
Greg Prins, D.M.D.
Greg Prins, a graduate of Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona, is interested in restoring and helping maintain good oral health, and enjoys getting patients out of pain and improving their quality of life. His practice philosophy includes “treating patients how I would want to be treated…listening to what the patient has to say and working with them to find a treatment solution that works for both, and improves the patients’ oral health.” He has extensive clinical experience serving the general population in Arizona, as well as doing volunteer dental work on the South Pacific Island of Tonga. He looks forward to now serving the dental needs of North Idaho.
When not in the clinic, Greg can be found building and fixing things, especially anything old, and spending time outdoors fly fishing, canoeing, and hiking.
